Choice & participation

Residents can choose by pointing or reading.

Every recipe is a clear photo and a simple layout — so residents can take part in their own menu by looking, pointing and choosing. Including people with intellectual disability, communication differences or limited literacy, who are often left out of food decisions in practice.

  • A real act of choice and self-determination, not a tick-box consult
  • Concrete evidence for NDIS Practice Standards on rights and dignity
  • “Our residents choose from a visual menu” — a stronger story for families and coordinators

Built for a multicultural workforce

Any recipe translates on demand — so the bench-level instruction reaches every worker, whatever their preferred language.

Julian Rosenstein, Founder of MenuLogic and Accredited Practising Dietitian
Julian Rosenstein
Founder · Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)
Built by a dietitian

Designed end to end by an Accredited Practising Dietitian.

After more than seven years as a dietitian working in the disability sector, Julian and his team kept seeing the same gap — no system tied food logistics together.

Houses ran without menus. Recipes were cobbled together from the internet, teams lost hours getting it wrong, and meals rarely had a dietitian's sign-off. Harder still was managing allergies, textures and intolerances in a single house where every resident has different nutritional needs.

So he set out to build MenuLogic from the ground up. With the right people supporting him along the way, it has grown into a robust, dependable platform — built to close that gap, and ultimately to better support people living with disability.

Clinically designed

Every recipe, texture level and safety rule is built by an Accredited Practising Dietitian — not generic recipes adapted after the fact.

IDDSI expertise

Texture modifications across the full IDDSI range, designed to be safe, nutritious and genuinely enjoyable to eat.

Real sector experience

Built by a clinician who has worked hands-on in supported accommodation — he knows the realities of the shift.

Staff time & cost

Give your team their hours back.

In most homes, one or two people run food off memory — planning menus, hunting for recipes and writing shopping lists. That's three to four hours a week of skilled support time spent on admin — instead of being with residents, supporting their goals and their day.

  • Recipes, menus and shopping lists — automated end to end
  • Hours back to supporting residents — their goals, their day-to-day
  • One consistent standard across every house, every week

Residents win too. Because grocery budgets come out of residents' own pensions, tighter shopping lists mean less of their money lost to over-buying and waste — better value for the people you support. Lists are costed against current Woolworths, Coles and ALDI pricing, so there are no surprises at the till.
