The operating system for mealtimes in supported accommodation.
MenuLogic turns each resident's dietary needs, IDDSI textures and allergies into safe menus, clear cooking steps, shopping lists and audit-ready records — one system, every house, every shift.

Reduce serious food errors.
MenuLogic operationalises four NDIS essentials: Meal Time Management Plans, IDDSI texture standards, allergen risk reduction, and documented dietary requirements — built around the realities of NDIS-funded supported independent living.
- Wrong texture served
- Allergen exposure
- Inconsistent preparation
- Undercooked or unsafe food
- Every recipe designed by an Accredited Practising Dietitian
- Texture levels applied per resident: Regular → Pureed
- Allergen flags and safe substitutions surfaced before cooking
- Clear, step-by-step instructions — no ambiguity
“MenuLogic is the best! We genuinely love how it works — it saves us so much time.”
Everything a safe kitchen needs
in one place.
Safety alerts first
Allergy and texture warnings sit above every recipe — never buried, never colour-only.
IDDSI textures
Per-resident texture levels 0–7, applied automatically to every meal they’re served.
Dietitian recipes
A library of recipes with clear steps and safe substitutions.
Audit-ready logs
Every meal, modification and intake recorded — export a clean trail in seconds.
How MenuLogic
works
One connected workflow — from choosing a recipe to the moment a meal reaches the table.
Choose resident-ready recipes
Dietitian-designed meals built around the people you support.
Build the menu
Generate the shopping list
Cook with confidence
Built for the people on shift.
Designed for busy houses — so a casual or agency worker can execute safely from day one.

Dietary safety and the day’s meals at a glance.
One recipe.
Every texture. Automatically.
Pick any recipe and MenuLogic adapts it to each resident’s texture requirement on its own — whether that’s one individual at home or a full house with different needs at the same table. Workers see exactly who’s in each group and the extra steps to get every plate right.
- Every resident’s IDDSI level applied automatically
- The same recipe, split into the right groups
- Exact extra steps to reach each texture safely
Serve as prepared
- 1Cut Chicken breast fillet and Short pasta into pieces no larger than 1.5 cm × 1.5 cm.
- 2Check Frozen pea is soft and easy to squash.
- 3Add extra Thickened cream if the pasta is dry.
- 4Press pieces with a fork to confirm they squash easily.
Real food, safely served.
Every recipe is tagged with the textures, diets and allergens that matter — so the right meal reaches the right resident.
Residents can choose by pointing or reading.
Every recipe is a clear photo and a simple layout — so residents can take part in their own menu by looking, pointing and choosing. Including people with intellectual disability, communication differences or limited literacy, who are often left out of food decisions in practice.
- A real act of choice and self-determination, not a tick-box consult
- Concrete evidence for NDIS Practice Standards on rights and dignity
- “Our residents choose from a visual menu” — a stronger story for families and coordinators
Built for a multicultural workforce
Any recipe translates on demand — so the bench-level instruction reaches every worker, whatever their preferred language.
Point to choose
Only meals that are safe for Greg are shown — texture and allergens already checked.
Designed end to end by an Accredited Practising Dietitian.
After more than seven years as a dietitian working in the disability sector, Julian and his team kept seeing the same gap — no system tied food logistics together.
Houses ran without menus. Recipes were cobbled together from the internet, teams lost hours getting it wrong, and meals rarely had a dietitian's sign-off. Harder still was managing allergies, textures and intolerances in a single house where every resident has different nutritional needs.
So he set out to build MenuLogic from the ground up. With the right people supporting him along the way, it has grown into a robust, dependable platform — built to close that gap, and ultimately to better support people living with disability.
Clinically designed
Every recipe, texture level and safety rule is built by an Accredited Practising Dietitian — not generic recipes adapted after the fact.
IDDSI expertise
Texture modifications across the full IDDSI range, designed to be safe, nutritious and genuinely enjoyable to eat.
Real sector experience
Built by a clinician who has worked hands-on in supported accommodation — he knows the realities of the shift.
Give your team their hours back.
In most homes, one or two people run food off memory — planning menus, hunting for recipes and writing shopping lists. That's three to four hours a week of skilled support time spent on admin — instead of being with residents, supporting their goals and their day.
- Recipes, menus and shopping lists — automated end to end
- Hours back to supporting residents — their goals, their day-to-day
- One consistent standard across every house, every week
of support time reclaimed a year across one house — hours that go back to residents, not admin.
Based on the 2026–27 NDIS weekday support rate of $73.58/hr. Every hour on food admin is a support hour not spent with residents.
Residents win too. Because grocery budgets come out of residents' own pensions, tighter shopping lists mean less of their money lost to over-buying and waste — better value for the people you support. Lists are costed against current Woolworths, Coles and ALDI pricing, so there are no surprises at the till.
